ripple blanket ta-dah!

Goodmorning!
Yes! The ripple blanket is finally finished! The pattern can befound here.
note for Angie: The yarn is Nako pırlanta' Derya'nın tercihi'.' Derya'nın tercihi' yellow is darker than Nako baby yellow. When I last visited the yarn shop I buy my yarn from, I saw the new colours of pırlanta yarn ; VERY bright colours.
I hope you have a lovely week-end.

we are on holiday part-2

Hello!
Here ia some of our holiday photos.
This is the lovely beach of Aphrodite. The water is so clear and warm , our favourite thing to do is to swim for two ours in this sea.
Little One enjoyed playing in the sand a lot...
And there is a nice pool too...
Of course , a holiday is not perfect without crochet. As I have mentioned before, I am working on  a baby ripple blanket. I am using Nako yarn, bamboo and cotton combination, I find it very enjoyable to crochet.
Soon, I hope to be back with a Ta-dah! post.
I hope you have a lovely day.

we are on holiday-part1

Hello lovelies!
Finally we are having holidays. We have started our holiday by exploring the village of Karaman of the beatiful Girne (Kyrenia).
My son was the person who enjoyed this trip a lot.
He washed his face from the running water arches and we had a walk through the lovely passages of the village.
Here is some details from the village

After Karaman , we went to the village of Gaziveren, to stay at a compound called Aphrodite. I will write about that in another post because now is the time to leave Aprodite and go home.
I hope you have a nice day!

PILlOW TALK

Helloooooo!
Today is a special day. Today is pillow Ta-dah ! day....This is my Number 1 pillow which I have finished long ago but finally could be turned into a pillow ( I have no sewing skills so I have them sewn at the shop I buy my yarn from )
Pillow Number 2 is a birthday gift for my assistant at the shop. The pattern is from Sarah London.

Pillow Number3 is for my youngest son.The Sunburst Granny Square Pillow. He has already started enjoying it: A fact that makes me a very happy mom.

At his sleep time watching Lion King....

I have two more pillow projects in progress;
Taking this photo was the best part of making those pillows:
And scenes from my garden:
This is a flower which takes me back to my childhood. My mom had 2-3 pots of those and in the hot summer afternoons I remember picking them and smelling the lovely frangrance. When I saw the bulbs at a supermarket  I knew I had to have them and this is the result after 2 years work.
I hope you all have a lovely day....

Crochet time!

Hello!
Today, I did not go to work. I  called in ill and stayed at home to crochet! I feel so rested , so relaxed... I just watched TV for 2 hours (something I haven't done since I had my baby) and crocheted. I enjoyed watching an episode of Agatha Cristie's Miss Marple.
And now is the time to show you what I have been working on:
This is Lucy's Blooming flower cushion. The pattern can be found here. I am almost done. Soon I will be having a cushion ta-dah!
This project was so much fun to do; every spare minute I had I run to crochet it!

Then, I have found another pattern surfing the blogland here. This pattern is soo easy and  so much enjoyable; this is the reason that my blooming flower cushion is not finished yet!
I am definitely going to make different colours of this pattern.

And I have finished some projects:
This is a hat for my friends daughter 6 months younger than my son. The pattern can be found here.

And lastly, someting I did for my son's birthday party last week.

This week-end I will be working and will have no time to crochet. But next week hopefully will be back with more crochet project ta-dah moments. I hope you all have a lovely week-end.
Gaia.
