April 23 ; National Sovereignty and Children's Day

Hello Dear Friends,
April 23 is celebrated as National Sovereignty and Children's Day in Turkey and North Cyprus. There were celebrations all over the country and My Little Man's school put on a wonderful show.

The children sang and danced; they had lots of fun.

We celebrate Children's Day but Atatürk gifted this day to World Children. So I am wishing Happy Children's Day to your children too...

WORK IN PROGRESS

Hello Dear Friends!
I am so excited to show you my new works in progress...

Nothing beats a classic granny, don't you think? I am not pleased with my colour choice though; but as I realized later, I picked the only available colours of that beautiful yarn; 80% acrylic and 20% wool combo.

This is my favourite work in progress at the moment; I just found the most gorgeous 100% cotton balls.

My elder son is on Easter break.He is currently studying law in London. So I took my boys for a lunch on Sunday.

I took them to Girne to a restaurant my sister recommended.The weather was beautiful until it started pouring...We moved inside but couldn't escape getting a bit wet.

My Little Man is so happy that his big brother is home. As for me, I am a bit disappointed as the big brother treats me with disrespect.But I say nothing. Being a step-mom is very tough.

SPRING

Hello Dear Friends!

Last week-end we were blessed with beautiful spring weather.

We went for a walk.You can see my mother and my son posing in front of the beautiful blossoms.

My son picking flowers by the side of the road.

My son and nephew relaxing in the sun.

And we went to circus. Italian Belucci Circus was in Nicosia and we couldn't miss it!
