This was the corner I set , with my current WIP on it, hoping that during the summer holiday- which is 8 working days long- I would sit there for a couple of hours a day, quietly stitching.
I showed her my garden then we sat for a nice cup of coffee to share what we have missed when we were abroad. We talked about which one of our plants couldn't survive the heat and lack of water, our families we visited, what yarns I got from Lithuania...
Then the children started fighting and we went inside to resume truce.
But at least I had those five minutes of my dream. Better than nothing, right? The WIP is still a WIP and today I took refuge in starting a new project; is there anything more calming than the stripes?!
I hope you have a lovely day! Gaia.
Gaia, your projects a re so beautiful, I am now going to dream of sitting there myself.

Your WIP is beautiful, so I can see why it attracted your neighbour!! xx
ReplyDeleteHello Gaia,
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog, it's lovely! What a cozy corner to sit and crochet! I'm loving the look of your projects above, I'm a big fan of colours, and those are beautiful! Looking forward to reading more here!

This is so pretty Gaia. A work of art! Yes crochet is better than therapy and sometimes chocolate for stress...but only sometimes.
