APRIL

Hello Dear Friends!
Wow! Time flies,really! I have been working like crazy trying to renovate my shop.It has been a tough job but everything worked out fine, there are some places which need some finishing touches but most of it is done. This is why there was no crochet, not even a little!
Here is a short summary of what I did in April:

We celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday. It was the Little Man who really enjoyed the cake.

Another celebration: 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's day. Little Man dancing in his ladybird costume.

Renovation...

An outing to the beach. Little Man throwing pebbles in the sea...

It was one of the few cloudy days we have....

The weather got suddenly so hot that I had to  hide my acrylic solid granny square blanket in the closet and start projects with mercerized cotton.

Hello Dear Friends!
My WIPs are close to finishing so I have started thinking about my next project. What should it be?

I am working with blue, white and grey; boy colours. The yarn is 100% wool; such a pleasure to work with!

I will be trying a number of patterns this week and try to decide on one pattern. I will be back with more squares soon! Gaia.

the sun is shining

Hello Dear Friends,
The sun is shining in this part of the world and there is a very light breeze . It is 24 degrees C. I am depressed. It is February and we are supposed to be having rain and cold. I can see that we will have water shortages all through the very hot summer which I guess we will be having this year.When I think of the long hot summer days I get more depressed. As a result ,I am not being very creative these days. I am still trying to finish my 'beautiful blanket'S' border.

 But my neighbor has been very busy. She finished a pancho;

and a shawl.
