Hello!
When I feel a bit depressed or stressed , I crochet...This is my way of fighting stress. And I can tell you; I have been busy. I turn something negative into something positive and the result is soooooo satisfying. So here is my first project:
I am not a fan of potholders. When I started this project ,I intended it to be a pillow. But then I realized it will take me too long to finish it so I ended up with my first crocheted potholder! The pattern can be found here.
It looks so good in my kitchen!
Second project; I have been working on this project since long; I started with great enthusiasm and lost my concentration in the middle. Now I just need to sew the squares together and I will have one more pillow...
Third project; another pillow. It was such a pleasure to work with that yarn and colours. I just need to find the right fabric and sew it into a pillow...
Forth project: something I did long ago waiting to be turned into another pillow...
And believe me, I have some more WIPs....

Bunting...
I have to confess ,I am new to the concept of ''bunting''. But I have liked the idea of crochet bunting when I came across with them on several lovely blogs. So here is what I did for my youngest son's birthday party.
I couldn't decide where to put them exactly; I tried a few places...
The birthday party will be tomorrow and I will decide tomorrow...
Tomorrow afternoon we will be having a birthday party and a cake!

Sunburst Granny Square Blanket Ta-dah!
I am sooooo excited! My baby blanket is finally finished!
There are 84 squares.
The edging is from Edie Eckman's 'Around the Corner Crochet Borders'. It turned out to be so nice; I couldn't stop myself watching and watching the beautiful border.
Because Cyprus is very hot,I prefer to work with merserized cotton in summer. It was such a pleasure to work with this yarn....And the result is very satisfying too.
This blanket is meant for my youngest son (he will be 2 years old on the 23rd of this month) for his bed at his grandparents house.
I enjoy crocheting blankets but they take such a long time to finish! So for my next project, I am thinking to start something which I will be able to complete in a short time. Now I am surfing the blogs for inspiration. I have few projects on mind , but I am not decided yet.
I hope you have a wonderful week-end !

Ta-dah!
Hello!
It has been sooooo long since I last posted! Not that I did not crochet at all; on the contrary, I have finished a couple of projects but hadn't had the time to write about them.
I will start with my latest project which I happen to finish just a couple of hours ago.
This blanket is for my eldest son who is 14 years old .
The edging pattern can be found here .
Hopefully, I will be back with more finished projects soon.
Until then, goodbye.

My biggest crochet project!
Hello!
I have started crocheting when I was in primary school. I remember hot Cypriot summers and my grandmother teaching me how to do chains and then circles. What she taught me was actually filet crochet and she used to crochet beautiful examples of filet crochet for each of her grandchildren. I will put some pictures of her work later here.
After I have discovered internet and the crochet blogs on the internet , this long forgotten hobby of mine became a passion.
There are so many inspirational crochet blogs and so many lovely ladies....
I will write about my earlier works later but today here is my current project: a bed cover for my toddler son.
The pattern can be found here.
I have started making the circles
I have enjoyed working with this yarn.It is 50% acrylic 50 % cotton. The colours are so cheerful.
The colours are so Mediterranean....
I am working on the border now but I haven't had the chance to photograph it yet. But soon I will have a Ta-dah! moment to share with you all...
That's all from me now. I hope you have a lovely day...
